Hildagarde is the CEO of Veolia in the Netherlands since April 2014. Veolia is a services company that supports businesses and cities in the management of their resources (being energy, water and waste materials). Throughout the world, with a staff of 187,000 and 160 years of experience, Veolia enables clients to get access to scarce resources, recover or reuse resources or reduce their consumption of same. Prior to this, Hildagarde was the CEO of Dalkia B.V. in the Netherlands, having transferred to the Netherlands from Dublin, where she held various positions. Hildagarde previously worked for companies within the ICT services sector such as I.T. Alliance and Cambridge Technology Partners (now Novell Inc) and prior to that as a Chartered Accountant working in practice. Hildagarde is also a non executive director of Veolia Ireland plc.
