Eithne Jones

Eithne Jones is a native of Co. Roscommon and a graduate in International Marketing and Japanese from Dublin City University. Her studies included spending a year living in Japan as an exchange student at Sophia University, Tokyo and as an intern at a Nissan subsidiary. On graduation she worked first as a Coordinator of International Relations for Kawaguchi City Hall (Saitama), followed by a two year sales and marketing role at an international skills training company in Tokyo. She started a speaker bureau in Tokyo in 1996, working with local Japanese and international speakers for corporate internal leadership meetings and client events. With 10 years experience in Tokyo, she moved her business to the Netherlands in 2000, from where Speaker Ideas has expanded its global database of guest speakers and clients. Eithne was Secretary of INBA from 2012 to 2018.
